A Zotero account is required in order to use the cloud storage.

• Navigate to https://www.zotero.org/user/register/
• Complete registration information
• Navigate to your email and open the email from Zotero
• Click on the link to validate your account

• Click on the grey gear (see below) and then select preferences

• Select Sync from the top toolbar
• Enter your username and password for Zotero, check "Sync automatically" and select OK
• To manually sync your data: click the "Sync with Zotero Server" icon
