History

Primary sources are highly context and/or period specific so searching across multiple databases has limited utility. It can be useful if you are searching cross mutilple sources for sources on a specific event (i.e. looking across multiple historical newspapers, journals for articles on the 1918 Flu pandemic). It would not be useful to search for articles on the Black Death in historical newspapers because they didn't exist.
