AOK Library Laptop Loans

About the Laptop Loan Program

The AOK Library, with support from the Department of Information Technology (DoIT), is excited to offer the Laptop Loan Program. This program provides the UMBC community with access to Mac, Windows, and Chrome laptops on a first-come, first-served temporary basis. Students in need of a laptop beyond a short-term, temporary loan are encouraged to review DoIT's guidance on Getting a Computer, including possible financial aid eligibility for computing needs.

Please read the Laptop Loan Policies page for detailed information about borrowing a laptop. The equipment is available for loan by creating a hold request in the Catalog. To find the items in the catalog, enter "UMBC Laptop" in the search bar.
