Under the section where you are adding citations, start with the Select Citations link.
A new section appears with a tab from My Bibliography and another tab for Click here to connect to your ORCID. Click the ORCID tab
If this is your first time adding Biosketch content from ORCID, then you will need to sign in to ORCID, either with your ORCiD number and password or with an integrated VCU institutional sign in (only if you have connected your ORCID to your VCU account and given it permission).
The first time you connect your ORCID to your SciENcv/MyNCBI account, ORCID will ask you to confirm permission by stating that you Authorize Access. The access authorization will be for the National Center for Biotechnology Information, which runs PubMed and all services on the My NCBI platform, including SciENcv.
Now your ORCID information will appear in the citations list tab for ORCID. You can use checkboxes from either tab: the My Bibliography tab or the ORCID tab, and they will combine into the list of selected citations.
Your ORCID link will also appear in the name section, allowing reviewers to easily click through to your ORCID profile. Remember to keep your ORCID profile updated with the information you would want reviewers to see!
