A resource to help reckon with our national legacy of systemic racism and the ways it impacts our community

Getting Started

This Black Lives Matter guide provides historical background, resources for teaching, support, and self-education, as well as links to organizations where you can get involved in making a difference. Use the tabs on the left to navigate through the different sections. This guide was originally developed in the summer of 2020 and then updated summer 2022 as a resource to help reckon with our national legacy of systemic racism and the numerous ways it impacts our community.
