Set up your Interlibrary Loan account

Interlibrary loan allows you to request materials that UMBC does not have in our collection. Requests for articles from ILL will usually come within 1-2 days as a pdf scan, and request for whole books will be shipped from another library and will usually arrive 1-3 weeks. You will be prompted to create an account the first time you use ILL (you will need to fill out a form with your name, email address, department, etc. and Library ID number- this 14 digit number can be found on the front of your UMBC ID card).
